Read more about the types of metal we weld below.
Steel Welding
We work with numerous steels including carbon steel and stainless steel. Stainless steel is a commonly used metal, and our team are adept at welding this material under a multitude of circumstances.
Aluminium Welding
Our aluminium welding is another popular metal which many of our clients require. Welding aluminium presents some unique challenges compared to welding steel or other common materials, particularly in terms of the metal’s chemistry and crack sensitivity. Our welders are able to ensure that these issues do not affect the final product by selecting the right filler metal, thorough cleaning of the base material and using correct welding techniques.
Copper Welding
Copper is a rarer metal form which often requires welding. We have a specialist team who have received detailed training, to be able to provide quality copper welding of all thicknesses. Our team will ensure that the copper weld has no visual defects such as surface cracks or undercut areas and that the weld has full fusion and penetration. For critical applications, more advanced inspection techniques can be adopted, such as NATA radiography (RT) testing at an additional cost.
Other Metals
Other metals we work with include Inconel, Monel, 7 Chrome, 10 Chrome, 13 Chrome and P91, among many others. Our breadth of materials and expertise in how to work with them is unrivalled in the industry, so when you require genuine quality from a friendly and helpful team, simply call us today.
